There was a time—not long ago—when “experimentation” with drugs was viewed through a lens of poor judgment, peer pressure, or youthful
curiosity. It was dangerous, yes. It could lead to addiction, legal trouble, or long-term consequences. But there was an underlying assumption that too often went unspoken:
Most people would survive it.
